From this page, you can access any of three unique coaching assessment tools. First, you can take a free self-assessment based on the Septet Coaching model. This will take about fifteen minutes.

You can also obtain feedback from one client, or multiple clients, to include your clients in a more extensive assessment process. To my knowledge, these are the only such tools in the world. Each provides an opportunity for objective, validated feedback from your coaching clients, similar to the 360 degree assessments we sometimes provide for our clients.

Self Assessment

Within a couple of days after taking the assessment, you will receive a graphic report showing your use of the seven Voices and the specific behaviors that comprise each. You’ll be invited to explore where your habits might lead you to overuse or underuse certain behaviors as you coach. An explanatory booklet will explain the model and guide you through interpreting your results and designing a self-observation to become more mindful in your use of these behaviors. Client Assessment

In this, you take the self-assessment described above. You will be provided with a link to send to a specific client, who will then take a similar assessment about you as his/her coach. You will both receive a copy of a report comparing your ratings side-by-side. 45 minutes of coaching with me will prepare you to use the report in a conversation with your client. In this, you will discuss similarities and differences in your ratings, your client will become more informed (and therefore more responsible) in the coaching process, and you will learn to be a better coach, using your client’s feedback. Multi-Rater Assessment

This version is similar to the Client Assessment, except that you’ll receive anonymous feedback from a minimum of three clients. These clients will not see your report unless you choose to share it with them. This is analogous to a 180 degree feedback process.
